The distance was not going to change our love for each other, even though we are 11.000 kilometers apart, the heart still wants what it wants. We conquered the distance and saw each other again, only to realize that the more time we spent together, the more our love for each other grew.
The pandemic was raging across the globe. This was the most demanding year of our relationship, but we stayed strong and kept our love for each other alive. We came through this tough period, besides the fact that we were on two different sides of the world.
A new world, both literally but also metaphorically. We finally reunited after two years of being apart. When we saw each other again, it was as if we had been apart for a week, and nothing had changed. We had always felt that we wanted each other for life, but this moment cemented it, and we were ready for the next step.
This is the culmination and conclusion after years of a long distance relationship, and beginning of a new chapter for our life. Finally, we will be uniting our beautiful souls for eternity and becoming husband and wife. It is true what they say, “A true love story never ends”.
